The Mid-Atlantic Geospatial Transportation Users Group (MAGTUG) is hosting a seminar during the GIS Day festivities at Burlington County College on November 13, 2013. The topic of the seminar is “Superstorm Sandy Effects on the Regional GIS and Transportation Systems”. MAGTUG is looking for presentations that describe data management projects and initiatives resulting from the storm’s impact on the region, including the transportation system. Of particular interest are lessons learned and preparations for future events.
Presenters will be given 25 minutes, and that includes 5 minutes for questions. Submit an abstract of your proposed presentation by September 30, 2013 to Kirk Weaver at firstname.lastname@example.org. Presentations will be selected and presenters notified in mid-October.
