Please join us for a 1 hour webinar on August 26th at 10:00 am titled “Improving Roadway Safety by Assessing MUTCD Compliance”
Numerous counties in the State of New Jersey have developed traffic sign inventories to aid in assessing MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) retro-reflectivity compliance. This presentation will focus on the development of a Traffic Sign Data Collection Application for Mercer County, NJ that was used to capture location and attribute information for all County maintained traffic signs and supports. The purpose of the inventory was to help improve roadway safety by providing a means for the County to develop a proactive plan to address signs that were damaged, missing, or non-compliant with MUTCD regulations. The webinar will provide an overview of the project and the associated workflow as well as a demonstration of the sign inventory application.
